The Wine and Sausage in Winchcombe, Cheltenham

Classic regional British food in the heart of the Cotswolds, in the ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe, just eight miles from the festival town of Cheltenham.

Winchcombe Wine & Sausage is located at the White Hart Inn, a centuries old coaching inn. In the centre of the Cotswold town, the Inn is ideally situated for walkers on the Cotswold Way, those searching for a weekend get away or visitors to Cheltenham for the numerous festivals the Prescott Hill Climb or racegoers throughout the winter (Cheltenham Race Course is just ten minutes away). Sudeley Castle, is a five minute walk away.

The White Hart is a sixteenth century coaching inn with eight comfortable ensuite bedrooms above the Wine & Sausage restaurant. Wine & Sausage has been refurbished and decorated in keeping with the history and style of the Inn with open fireplaces, scrubbed pine tables, antique furniture and heritage colours. Occupying the ground floor with a bar, wine shop, eating rooms and private dining room, we can seat up to seventy guests and the joys of the English summer can be experienced on the south-facing patio and garden benches.

Private parties, functions and meetings can be catered for in either the Gallery Room (forty guests) or Garden Bar (sixty guests). The whole of Wine & Sausage can be hired out for a unique style of wedding, birthday parties, banquets, wine tasting events and business receptions.
